We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and passionate early years professional to join our team at Little Robinsā Day Nursery.
Our Nursery Practitioner will play a key role in creating a nurturing, play-rich environment that supports childrenās learning, development and wellbeing, working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality early education and care.
We are a small, family-run nursery with a strong focus on relationships, curiosity and inclusive practice.

š¼ What Weāre Looking For:
- Provide high-quality care and education within the room, helping to create a nurturing and well-organised environment
- Support the planning, observation and assessment of childrenās learning and development in line with the EYFS
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistent, inclusive early years practice
- Act as a key person, building warm, secure relationships with children and supporting their emotional wellbeing
- Build positive, trusting relationships with families and communicate effectively about childrenās experiences and progress
ā Youāll Need:
ā Essential Criteria:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or working towards)
- Experience working with young children in an early years setting
- A caring, patient and nurturing approach to working with children
- Sound understanding of the EYFS and child development
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to inclusive, child-led and responsive practice
- Willingness to follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures
⨠Desirable Criteria:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years
- Experience working with babies or young children (depending on room)
- Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to complete)
- Experience acting as a key person
- Confidence building positive relationships with families
