At Little Robins, we believe childcare should feel simple, consistent and completely transparent.
Children attend for 50 weeks of the year, giving them stability, routine and strong relationships with their key person and friends. Funding applies during 38 term-time weeks, with the remaining 12 holiday weeks charged at our private daily rate. To make budgeting easier for families, fees are spread evenly across 12 months — so there are no seasonal surprises.

🌿Understanding Funding:
Many families are eligible for Government-funded childcare. Here’s how it works at Little Robins.
🌿15 Hours Funding:
Some children are entitled to 15 funded hours per week during term time (38 weeks).
We stretch those hours across 50 weeks, which means funded hours are spread evenly throughout the year rather than used term-time only.
Funding covers your child’s early education hours.
Meals, enrichment experiences and consumables are supported through a small additional contribution.
🌿30 Hours Funding:
Working families may be eligible for 30 funded hours per week during term time.
As with 15 hours funding, these are stretched across 50 weeks to create consistent attendance and predictable monthly payments.

🌿Tax-Free Childcare:
The Government’s Tax-Free Childcare scheme can help reduce your overall childcare costs.
For every £8 you pay into your childcare account, the Government adds £2 — up to £2,000 per child, per year.
This can be used towards:
• Private sessions
• Funded contributions
• Holiday weeks
We accept Tax-Free Childcare payments and can explain how to set this up if you’re unsure.

We believe childcare should feel calm, clear and easy to understand — not complicated or overwhelming.

🌿Deposits and Registration:
There’s no deposit required to secure your child’s place.
Instead, a £55 registration fee is payable upon registration.
This one-off fee includes:
• Three settling-in sessions to help your child feel confident and comfortable
• Registration and setup on the FAMLY app
• A personalised Little Robins t-shirt
• Administration and onboarding costs
Your child’s place is confirmed once the registration fee has been received.
🌿Minimum Attendance:
Children attend a minimum of two sessions per week, including at least one full day.
Regular attendance helps children build friendships, form secure relationships with their key person and settle into the rhythm of nursery life.
