🌿 Nursery Practitioner:

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and passionate early years professional to join our team at Little Robins’ Day Nursery.

Our Nursery Practitioner will play a key role in creating a nurturing, play-rich environment that supports children’s learning, development and wellbeing, working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality early education and care.

We are a small, family-run nursery with a strong focus on relationships, curiosity and inclusive practice.

🌼 What We’re Looking For:

  • Provide high-quality care and education within the room, helping to create a nurturing and well-organised environment
  • Support the planning, observation and assessment of children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistent, inclusive early years practice
  • Act as a key person, building warm, secure relationships with children and supporting their emotional wellbeing
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with families and communicate effectively about children’s experiences and progress

⭐ You’ll Need:

āœ… Essential Criteria:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or working towards)
  • Experience working with young children in an early years setting
  • A caring, patient and nurturing approach to working with children
  • Sound understanding of the EYFS and child development
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to inclusive, child-led and responsive practice
  • Willingness to follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures

✨ Desirable Criteria:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years
  • Experience working with babies or young children (depending on room)
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to complete)
  • Experience acting as a key person
  • Confidence building positive relationships with families
