šæ Room Leader:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate early years professional to join our team at Little Robinsā Day Nursery.
Our Room Leader will lead one of our nursery rooms, creating a nurturing, play-rich environment that supports childrenās learning, development and wellbeing, while working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality early education.
We are a small, family-run nursery with a strong focus on relationships, curiosity, and inclusive practice.

š¼ What Weāre Looking For:
Lead the day-to-day practice within the room, ensuring a nurturing, well-organised environment
Plan, assess and monitor childrenās learning and development in line with the EYFS
Support and mentor staff within the room, modelling high-quality early years practice
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain inclusive, consistent provision across the nursery
Build positive, trusting relationships with families and communicate effectively about childrenās progress
ā Youāll Need:
ā Essential Criteria:
- Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years
- Experience working with babies and children under 2
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Confidence supporting babies with SEND and responding to individual needs
- Secure knowledge of the EYFS, particularly early development and attachment
- Commitment to child-led, responsive and nurturing practice
āØ Desirable Criteria:
- Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to complete)
- Experience supporting or mentoring staff within a baby room or early years setting
- Experience in a room leader or senior practitioner role
- Strong understanding of attachment, routines and partnership with families
